New-York based fine jewelry brand John Hardy introduced its new Spear collection, a mix of signature and traditional aspects of the brand with modern and sleek twists.

The collection was designed by Creative Chairman Reed Krakoff (formely of Coach and Tiffany & Co,), who spun a modern twist on the almost 50-year-old brand’s traditional style and jewelry-making techniques.

John Hardy uses traditional Balinese jewelry-making techniques to make its signature Icon chain, which Krakoff used his keen eye for modern creative energy to evolve into the Spear collection.

Coming in four colorways as a bracelet and two colorways as a choker, the Spear collection features a dynamic bypass silhouette with a titanium wire on the inside—allowing for a flex feature to bring about more sophistication and beauty for each individual wearer.

The pieces are adorned with bright diamond pavé accents in meticulously hand-wrapped 14k gold and sterling silver.
